Wild Berry Oat Waffles. 😍 So today I woke up around sunrise to soak my oats in almond milk. That way, when I finished my morning run I could have perfecto oatmeal. Nope, that is not how things went down πŸ™… Instead of perfect oats I had overly milky oats - way too much liquid to handle πŸ™† It was at this moment where I thought, but this mixture is like waffle mix. It’s been 2 years since I’ve decided to do nothing with my hair πŸ™ˆ And what I mean by that is - no heat styling (blow dryer, curling iron, straightner, nope none of thatπŸ˜…!), sulfate-free 100% vegan shampoo and conditioner, wash only 3 times a week, apple cider vinegar soak 1-2 times a week, clean eating, lots of water, and lots of greens🌱 Before, my hair was completely brittle πŸ˜“ as in I would brush it and there would be breakage everywhere 😳. I wasn’t air drying and would straighten every day for almost 5 years!! Not to mention endless hours of coloring and absolutely no hair growth πŸ™…. Now, 2 years later my hair has grown 10 inches in length, I still have a bit of coloring from years ago on my ends but it’s HEALTHY and has a shine I don’t have to get at premium cost. I use coconut oil to soften my ends and do a natural avocado mask once a month. If you haven’t made the switch to going natural I 100% recommend it. The first 3-6 months will feel like a complete mess to you; friziness, dryness, oily, just overall unclean. HOWEVER, this is the process your hair goes through to gain back its natural color, feel, and oils. It is worth it. I can run through the rain and know it will look decent in a couple hours. I can travel without shampoo and not worry about feeling gross. I can give up the time it takes to make it look good every day because it naturally just does. Whenever you’re going through a bad day just remember, your track record for getting through bad days, so far, is 100%; and that’s pretty damn good. OH & if that’s still not enough.. You could TRY THIS BEAUTIFUL VEGAN BURGER. ❀️ Black Lentil and Roasted Mushroom. I finished my last training sesh before this weekends upcoming race and first I thought *is today Wednesday or Thursday* πŸ˜‚, It’s Thursday, so that means it’s my last day to train before 2 days of rest. Then my second thought was *holy macaroni I need PROTEIN* πŸ’ͺ Gosh darn I ate two of these then proceeded to have a shake just to make sure I got it all in there. Tuscan Kale Soup. πŸ‚πŸƒπŸŒΎ It’s pouring rain today β˜”οΈ so I’m making soup and laughing, no crying, to Office Space playing on my laptop πŸ˜‚ this movie is hilllaaarrious! I think later I may change up my pace and put on the Harry Potter series πŸ‘“βš‘οΈWhat are you up to today!?

Recipe for this awesome soup:
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1 Onion, chopped
3 Clives of Garlic, minced
2 c Kidney Beans, already cooked
Carrots, Celery, Tomatoes, & Kale
6 c Vegetable Broth
1 tsp Thyme, dried

1. Heat pan & oil. 2. Add onion and garlic. 3. Add all other ingredients. Bring to boil. 4. Cook until carrots are soft. Enjoy!
